Emily Fort is a leader in using collaboration and information technology to improve the Federal Budgeting process. She served on the task force that formed the vision, architecture, and business case for the Budget Formulation and Execution Line of Business, and currently serves as Project Lead for the MAX Federal Community. With more than 17,000 users and dozens of “cross-agency collaboration spaces” on hundreds of different subjects, the MAX Enterprise Wiki gives all government officials the ability to share knowledge, documents, and screens, in a secure and friendly manner. Prior to coming to OMB, Emily was an analyst for the National Science Foundation’s budget office where she prepared various analyses that summarized NSF’s performance and budget and financial data for NSF senior management, the National Science Board, and advisory committees.
