Stephanie Greenhut

Education Technology Specialist, NARA

As a member of the Education Team at the National Archives, Stephanie helps educators and students from around the country learn about the vast holdings of the National Archives. She works with teachers and students in person and virtually on strategies for teaching with, and learning from, primary sources in the classroom.

As an Education Technology Specialist, Stephanie creates instructional materials and tools using educational technologies. Collaborating with fellow educators and colleagues, she develops web-based resources for teachers and students centered on the records in the National Archives. She is currently co-managing the development of a new website geared toward giving pre-service teachers and methods instructors tools and knowledge to help their tech-savvy students interact with primary sources in unique ways that utilize new technology.

Stephanie joined the National Archives Education team in November, 2008, after teaching United States history to middle school students. She has also been a high school world history and law teacher. Her interest in using primary sources combined with new educational technologies in the classroom led her to the National Archives, where she is happy to assist fellow educators in teaching with technology.
