Tina Cariola is the Program Manager for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)’s IdeaFactory. Located within the Office of the Deputy Administrator, Ms. Cariola leads the efforts for TSA’s two-year old, ground-breaking social media tool that harnesses employee wisdom to improve security for the traveling public and enhance job satisfaction within the workplace. For the majority of her 15-year career, she has focused on stakeholder relations and business process improvement. During her 6 years at TSA, she was also involved with the e-Gov office, where she helped with TSA’s effort to streamline IT platforms for multiple uses, focusing on end-users to ensure they had appropriate tools to meet their needs. Prior to TSA, Ms. Cariola was a consultant specializing in customer relationship management. Ms. Cariola holds a B.S. from the University of Notre Dame, and an M.B.A from the University of Maryland.
